SOLID SCREEN FESTIVAL

 we need short films/videos to screen to the community on the first night

 - please send an electronic file first (on disk by snail mail, or by an electronic service like drop box etc)

 - and also bring a film or 2 of yours on DVD (your recent/best/iconic work)
PAL format is best for Australia.

 this will be an ideal introduction to SOLID IDEAS as well.
one outcome of SOLID will include a publication 
Invited guests please email a high resolution image of yourself and one image representing a screen work of yours (or your work generally)

And a bio (about one paragraph or so)

- which will later be edited to include a section in the publication


SOLID video interviews

 during the retreat you will be asked to complete a short video interview about yourself and your interest/s in the screen, as documentation.

2021 Solid Sisters Retreat - Scenic Rim

what: a weekend healing retreat and Native Christmas in July for the Solid Sisters Artists-in-Residence.   where: at Boonah, On Country in the Scenic Rim, the mountainous area of South East Queensland.   why: for womankind solidarity; to appreciate the gifts of the season, to say goodbye to the plants on the property; for community feedback on a screen test of the Jinda film; and yarn around the fire.   how: this is a self-funded gift toward community healing, a humble offering to help raise our vibration.
